Proteas fast bowler Marizanne Kapp delivered a belter to dismiss fellow South African Lizelle Lee in their Big Bash League clash on Sunday.
Kapp, who opened the bowling for the Sydney Sixers, unleashed a beauty of a inswinger to see the back of the Melbourne Renegade’s opening batter Lee (9).
It was Kapp’s only wicket of the match as she finished with figures of 1 for 17 in her four overs.
The Sixers went onto restrict the Renegade’s to 119/7 as Sixers’ opener Alyssa Healy smashed 60 from 31 balls to secure a comfortable eight-wicket DLS win at the Sydney Showground Stadium.
The Sixers remain unbeaten in the Big Bash League thus far after winning two games with their other two abandoned due to rain.
Kapp’s team-mate and wife, Dane van Niekerk took to Instagram to praise the fast bowler’s brilliant execution stating that Kapp’s delivery was “one of the best deliveries she has ever seen“.
