Russian fighter jets scrambled six times over past week on interception missions

MOSCOW, April 12. /TASS/. Russian fighter jets have been scrambled six times over the past week to prevent violations of the country’s state border, Krasnaya Zvezda daily reported citing the Defense Ministry.

According to the infographics, 27 foreign aircraft have been registered on reconnaissance flights near Russian borders. There were no violations of Russia’s airspace.

Over the past week, Russian pilots carried out 286 flight missions at 75 airfields as part of combat training.
