Ryan Wilson had to be replaced by Rob Harley in the first half at Murrayfield on Saturday

Back-row Ryan Wilson has been added to Scotland’s long injury list and will miss the remainder of the Six Nations.

The Glasgow co-captain suffered knee ligament damage in Saturday’s 22-13 loss to Ireland at Murrayfield.

Centre Huw Jones and full-back Stuart Hogg also picked up knee and shoulder injuries respectively.

Both remain part of Gregor Townsend’s squad and will be assessed by a specialist this week before the trip to France on 23 February.

Wilson’s absence will be keenly felt, with back-row forwards John Barclay, Hamish Watson, Sam Skinner, Dave Denton, Blade Thomson, John Hardie and Magnus Bradbury also already missing.

Glasgow’s Rob Harley, who replaced Wilson against Ireland, and Newcastle’s Gary Graham are likely to be the leading contenders to start in Paris.
