| Sundowns complete signing of Amazulu striker Tade

Cape Town – Mamelodi Sundowns have completed the signing of AmaZulu’s Argentine striker Emiliano Tade, with both clubs confirming the transfer on Wednesday.

The 30-year-old Tade did not return to KZN with his AmaZulu team-mates after their game against Sundowns on Tuesday and instead went to the PSL offices to be registered as a Masandawana player.

Sundowns took to social media to confirm that a deal had been reached with Usuthu, although neither side said anything about the terms on the contract or the fee.

One snippet out of the deal is that Bonginkosi Ntuli, who has been on loan at the KZN club, would now move from the Brazilians to AmaZulu on a permanent basis.

Tade’s transfer to Masandawana could spell bad news for striker Jeremy Brockie, who has not been scoring goals as regularly as he would like.

The 30-year-old Tade has already found the back of the net seven times since joining Amazulu at the start of this season from New Zealand club Auckland City.

Sundowns are next in action against ASEC Mimosas in the CAF Champions League on Saturday at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.

Kick-off is at 18:00.
